Justin Lin’s Perfect Storm Entertainment Is On the Way to Develop a Biopic On World Rally Vice Champion Michele Mouton

‘Motorsport’ When we hear this term, we get a picture of a man driving superfast cars on uneven road tracks or temporary street circuits, but what if I tell you that motorsport has one lady who has dominated the sport with her unparalleled driving skills and left the other racers at the time when males dominated the playground.

Yes! You guessed it right! We are talking about Michele Mouton, a former French rally driver honored with four World Rally Championships in 1970 and ‘80. Recently, the owner and director of the Perfect Storm Entertainment media company, Justin Lin, acquired the right to develop a film about Mouton’s life.

Earlier, Justin Lin served as the Fast & Furious franchise director. When he learned about the documentary titled ‘The Queen of Speed.’ and its achievement of the International Emmy for The Best Sports Documentary in 2022, he started developing ideas to develop a biopic on Michele Mouton’s life.

The upcoming biopic will follow the story of a woman who excelled in the male-dominated world rally during the Group B era, where the rally used to be known for its dangers. Michele has not only won four FIA World Rally Championship races, but she has also made history by becoming one of the world’s most renowned women to have ever won a championship race.

Now, if we talk about the production process, the biopic will be produced under the banner of Perfect Storm Entertainment, and Justin Lin will direct the show. In addition, Andrew Schneider, nominated for the Writers Guild of America Award, will join the biopic as a screenwriter. Not only that, but Mouton and her daughter, Jessie Johnsson-Luthy, will also work as the executive producers for the upcoming project.

No doubt, Michele Mouton has earned worldwide fame and wealth through her victorious career, but still, Mouton always mentions that her father has supported her in ups and downs. Michele also stated that her father was a big fan of driving fast cars and that he probably wanted to become a racer. Still, he has to settle without participating in the race due to a lack of opportunity. Mouton is now retired and lives happily with her husband and children. You would be surprised to know that Michele stopped her racing career almost three decades ago, but still, no woman has ever achieved fame and performance as Michele Mouston.

Under the Group B era, she was honored as a trailblazer for women in motorsport. Hopefully, Perfect Storm Entertainment’s forthcoming project will include all the significant events of Michele Mouton’s life and entertain the audience.
