Mila Kunis Reveals She and Ashton Kutcher Won’t Return for Their Roles in “That ‘90s Show” Season 2
Mila Kunis stated in an interview that she and Ashton Kutcher will not return to the second season of That ‘90s Show. Kuni shared the information during an interview in the 25th-anniversary celebration of the adult animated comedy series Family Guy along with Seth Green.
In the interview, she was asked about the sitcom’s return, and she replied that they did their thing and introduced their son to the show. However, Seth Green said in that chat that he would be back in his character, Mitch Miller. He continued that he had already done an episode and returned to do another one.
That ‘90s Show is a spin-off of the series That ‘70s Show, which ran between 1998 and 2006. It told the story of a group of teenage friends who were struggling in their lives to get a direction. The cast of the series includes Topher Grace as Eric Forman, Danny Masterson as Steven Hyde, Laura Prepon as Donna Pinciotti, Mila Kunis as Jackie Burkhart, and Ashton Kutcher as Michael Kelso.
The spin-off series focuses on Leia Forman (Callie Haverda), the daughter of Grace and Prepon, as she spends the summer with her grandparents, Red and Kitty, and forms a bond with other teenagers. Most of the core stars appeared in the spin-off except Masterson, who has been serving in prison after being convicted of rape in 2023.
Kunis and Kutcher first met on the sitcom set. But they began dating in 2012 and got married in 2015. They have two children. In the spin-off series, they have a teenage son, Jay Kelso, played by Mace Coronel, who is a love interest of Leia.
That ‘90s show used the advantage of the return of the core cast to get attention for its first season. The original series fans might be disappointed by hearing Mila Kunis and Aston Kutcher will not be back for their characters in season 2.
