The Bear Shares New Poster: Here is Everything We Know About Season 3
The new season of The Bear is approaching its release date. On Tuesday, the series posted a new poster for its fans on the social media account of Disney+ UK.
The poster showcases Carmy Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White) and Sydney Adamu (Ayo Edebiri) standing at the kitchen’s entrance door wearing the chef’s outfit. The rest of the cast members, including Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), Neil (Matty Matheson), Natalie (Abby Elliot), Tina (Liza Colón-Zayas), and Marcus (L-Boy), are shown behind them in the kitchen.
The long-awaited third season of the series is set to release on June 27 on Disney+ and Hulu. The new poster was followed by the trailer released last month. The series trailer, which was dropped on May 24, shows Carmy, along with Sydney and Richie, facing huge pressure in his newly opened restaurant.
In one scene, Sydney tells Carmy and Richie, “This is a dysfunctional kitchen!” and they retort, “Show me a functional one!” In another scene, when Richie brings a piñata to the kitchen, Carmy says to him, “No surprise!” and Richie replies, “Yes, surprise!”
The comedy-drama series The Bear premiered in June 2022 and the second season in June 2023. It received wider appreciation for its acting, directing, and writing. The first season won ten Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series. The series also received nominations for several Golden Globe Awards and won four.
The series follows Chef Carmy, who is forced to return to his family’s Italian beef sandwich shop after his older brother’s death. Now he had to deal with his brother’s debts, unruly staff, and a rundown kitchen by dealing with his own trauma.
The third season, which contains 10 episodes, was renewed in November 2023. On February 9, during the executive session of Television Critics Association members, John Landgraf, the Chairman of FX, confirmed that The Bear Season 3 would premiere in June with all episodes dropped once.
The main cast members are expected to return in the third season including Jeremy Allen White as Carmy Berzatto, Ayo Edebiri as Sydney Adamu, Ebon Mos-Bachrach as Richie Jerimovich, Lionel Boyce as Marcus, Abby Elliot as Natalie “Sugar” Berzatto and Liza Colón-Zayas as Tina.
The official synopsis of the third season stated that Carmy, Sydney, and Richie turned their beef stand shop into a fine dining establishment and did their best to stay in the business.
The show already got a renewal for the fourth season ahead of the third season’s premiere and the filming was done back to back with season 3.
