BBC Drama Director Lindsay Salt said, “It’s a show that is absolutely on a roll, and we’re beyond pleased to bring more fiendishly clever mysteries from the Shipton Abbott team to the BBC.”
The executive producer Tim Key also expressed his excitement regarding the renewal by saying, “The response to series two has been fantastic. So much love goes into the making of the show and we’re delighted that the audience have enjoyed it so much.”
He also said, “we’ll be making the viewers laugh, cry, laugh a bit more and then baffling them with a series of ingenious puzzles.”

Beyond Paradise Season 3 Plot Synopsis – Spoilers Ahead
The series follows DI Humphrey Goodman. After he engaged with his lover Martha Lloyd, they moved to her hometown of Shipton Abbott, where Martha planned to open a restaurant. Humphrey soon joined a local police force that included DS Esther Williams, PC Kelby Hartford, and Margo Martins. Martha and Humphrey face many struggles, starting with a family while dealing with her mother, Anne, and her ex-fiancé, Archie. As the story progresses, Humphrey deals with different murder mysteries in each episode.
In the second season finale, Humphrey and Martha decided to call off their marriage and start their fostering journey by welcoming Ryan, whose grandfather passed away recently and his mother was in the hospital.
