In the fifth season, Guillermo’s wish to become a vampire is granted by his friend Derek, even after it is revealed that he is descended from Van Helsing. But things don’t go as Guillermo planned; he becomes a half-vampire. Nandor learns that Guillermo was turned into a vampire. He tries to track down Guillermo in order to kill him for his betrayal.
However, when he finds Guillermo, he gave a chance to him to become a full vampire by drinking human blood. But Guillermo decided to live as a human, as he didn’t want to kill people to feed. Nandor killed Derek in order to return Guillerno as a human. But Derek didn’t die as he went back to life as a zombie.
The plot of the sixth season will continue where the previous season left off. It will explore how Guillermo’s transformation affects the relationship with Nandor.
