Kesha Dazzles with Mom Pebe Sebert at ‘Night of 1000 Keshas’ Benefit

This week, pop star Kesha garnered attention when she walked the red carpet at a special “Night of 1000 Keshas” benefit event in California, accompanied by a very special guest.

Her rarely-seen mother, singer-songwriter Pebe Sebert, joined the “Tik Tok” hitmaker as they stepped out to support a worthy cause. The event was a fundraiser for The Magic Mission’s “Slay and Neuter” campaign, which aims to rescue street animals in Central America.

Kesha, 35, dazzled in a semi-sheer white bodycon dress that showed off her toned legs. Completing the look with a black graffiti-printed bag and white heels, the pop star posed for photos with fans, who excitedly stuffed dollar bills into her eye-catching ensemble.

Pebe, 67, looked radiant in a colorful tropical-print maxi dress as she proudly stood beside her famous daughter. The Tennessee native is also a successful songwriter, having co-written hit songs for artists like Dolly Parton and Pitbull.

“Originally from Tennessee, Pebe is also a singer-songwriter, having co-written number-one hits for Dolly Parton, Pitbull, and her daughter Kesha,” the report noted.

Kesha and Pebe have collaborated musically in the past, with the mother co-producing Kesha’s 2017 comeback album “Rainbow.” The pair co-wrote several tracks on the project, including “Hymn” and “Learn To Let Go.”

The singer has previously spoken about her close relationship with her mother, crediting Pebe for providing her with a wonderful upbringing despite financial struggles.

“I never ONCE was aware that we didn’t have as much as other people when I was young,” Kesha once said. “We do turn into our mothers, [whether] we like it or not, but I strive to inherit her [mother’s] open heart and beautiful soul.”

The recent outing comes as Kesha prepares to release a new holiday-themed single. Spotify announced that the pop star will be putting her own spin on the classic “Holiday Road,” originally performed by Lindsey Buckingham.

“With Holiday Road, Kesha has taken this really fun ’80s song—which wasn’t originally a holiday song—and brought it to the modern day,” said Spotify’s Talia Kraines. “We just knew she would sound amazing singing it, and she does.”

Kesha’s take on “Holiday Road” will be part of Spotify’s annual holiday singles collection, set to debut on October 15th. The singer has been keeping busy on the musical front, having recently teamed up with fellow pop star Charli XCX on a new remix of her song “Spring Breakers.”

Kesha’s appearance on the track marks the latest development in her ongoing musical evolution. Just last month, the pop star made headlines when she vowed to permanently change the infamous “Wake up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy” lyric from her 2009 smash hit “Tik Tok.”

“I will re-record it when I have legal rights to do so!” Kesha promised. “Now, my first baby stands for so much. It stands for fiercely protecting fun and unadulterated joy, both in myself and in others.”

As Kesha continues to navigate the ups and downs of the music industry, one thing remains certain: she always has the unwavering support of her beloved mother, Pebe Sebert, by her side.
