Shortly after Megan Fox announced she is expecting her first child with fiancé Machine Gun Kelly, her ex-husband Brian Austin Green’s partner Sharna Burgess took to social media to share a heartwarming message.
On Instagram, Sharna Burgess, the “Dancing with the Stars” pro who engaged Brian Austin Green last year, celebrated Megan Fox’s pregnancy. In a post on her Instagram Story, Burgess wrote, “Welcome, little one; we are all so excited to meet you. Congratulations, Mama X.”
Megan Fox, 38, announced her pregnancy on Monday by sharing a series of photos featuring her baby bump. “Nothing is ever really lost. Welcome back,” she captioned the post, using lyrics from her fiancé Machine Gun Kelly’s song “Last November.”
This will be the fourth child for Fox, who shares sons Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8, with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green. It will be the second child for Machine Gun Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker; he has a 15-year-old daughter named Casie from a previous relationship.
Green, 51, also took to social media to show support for his fiancée, Sharna Burgess. Green, who shared a throwback video of himself in the music video for his 1996 song “You Send Me,” wrote, “I love you, baby!!” Nothing’s better than finding someone who truly supports you! I wish that for everyone.”
Over the years, numerous studies have documented the blended family dynamic between Fox, Green, Burgess, and Machine Gun Kelly. Green and Fox shared a marriage from 2010 to 2021, and since then, they have been co-parenting their three sons.
In a recent interview, Green opened up about the challenges of co-parenting, noting that the key is to focus on the children rather than the former partners’ relationship. “Prioritizing the kids’ experience is crucial,” he stated in April.
Fox has also been candid about the difficulties of co-parenting, admitting, “It’s hard to not feel obligated to be with them all the time or to constantly feel like I’m not doing a good enough job.” However, she emphasized the importance of not speaking ill of the children’s father in front of them.
Meanwhile, Burgess and Green have been open about their own journey, having welcomed their first child together, son Zane, in June 2022. After connecting on “Dancing with the Stars” in 2020, the couple engaged in September 2023.
As the Fox-Green-Burgess-Machine Gun Kelly family continues to grow, it’s clear that they are navigating the complexities of blended family life with grace and support for one another. Burgess’ warm message to Fox is a testament to the progress they’ve made in creating a harmonious co-parenting dynamic. With a new baby on the way, the Hollywood clan will undoubtedly be busy, but if Burgess’ message is any guide, they’re all in this together.
