The official release date for Bosch: Legacy season 3 is yet to be announced. The first season premiered in May 2022, and the second in October 2023. The third season was renewed before the release of season 2. The announcement was made on May 1, 2023, ahead of Amazon’s NewFront presentation.

Bosch: Legacy Season 3 Plot Synopsis – Spoilers Ahead

The series starts with Harry Bosch’s retirement from the LAPD and starts his new job as a private investigator. Meanwhile, his daughter Maddie joins as an LAPD Patrol officer, where she has to face harsh realities about her job. At the end of the first season, Maddy is kidnapped by a criminal.

The second season revealed that Maddie was kidnapped by Kurt Dockweiler, a serial killer who rapes and murders women. At the end of season 2, Maddie gets a call from prison and informed that Dockweiler has been died in jail due to an overdose. But later, she realizes that her father was ordered the prison hit on Dockweiler.

The most shocking thing was Maddie’s revelation that her father was responsible for the death of her convicted kidnapper. The incident will lead to a strain in their relationship.
