NCIS Season 22 Release Date
NCIS season 22 will premiere on CBS on Monday, October 14 at 8 pm. The 21st season of the series was released on February 12, 2024, and it was renewed for the 22nd season in April, before the conclusion of season 21, along with The Neighborhood.
At the time of the renewal, CBS Entertainment President, Amy Reisenbach stated that “’The Neighborhood’ and ‘NCIS’ are the very best definition of a CBS comedy and drama. They embody authentic storytelling with heart, humor and family dynamics. We are proud to bring them back next season.”
The new season’s filming has already started, and it was confirmed by the actor Brian Dietzen. On July 17, he posted a photo of his glass of the character and wrote, “These are going on my face now. Hello Jimmy Palmer. Welcome back everyone!”

The series focuses on the Major Case Response Team (MCRT), which works for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS).
