The Way Home Season 3 Plot Synopsis – Spoilers Ahead
The series’ story focuses on three generations of Landry family women: Del (Andie MacDowell), Kat (Chyler Leigh), and Ali (Sadie Laflamme-Snow). Kat is estranged from her mother, Del, and recently separated from her husband and lost her journalist job. When she received a letter from Del, she decided to return to her hometown, Port Haven, with her daughter Alice.
There, Alice discovers a time-travel pond and falls on it. She travels back to the late 1990s when her mother was a teen. Alice befriends teenage Kat and Elliot. When she returns from the past, she discovers that Elliot knows about the pond and the memory of Alice’s visit in the past.
In the present day, Kat also discovers the pond and travels back to when her father and brother were alive. She decides to save them by altering the past but fails. Kat then learns that her brother Jacob also time-traveled through the pond and must live at another time.
The second season focuses on Kat’s travels to 1814 and decides to bring Jacob back. Considering the plot of the third season, nothing has been revealed yet. We have to wait a little more to get any further updates.
