Marcille was born to Michelle Pigford and Evan Pigford on October 30, 1984, in Los Angeles, California. Her middle name, Marcille, is derived from the combination of her grandmothers’ names, “Majorie” and “Lucille.” She attended Raymond Avenue Elementary School and Marina Del Rey Middle School.
Marcille graduated from Washington Preparatory High School. Then, she joined Clark Atlanta University in Georgia but didn’t complete her studies. She left the college after becoming the winner of the third season of America’s Next Top Model.
Professional Career
Marcille became a contestant in the UPN reality show America’s Next Top Model Cycle 3 in 2004. She was crowned the third season winner by beating her fellow contestant, Yaya DaCosta. As a winner, she earned the prize of a modeling contract with Ford Models, a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl cosmetics, and a fashion spread in Elle Magazine.
