Psaki spent her childhood in Stamford, Connecticut, and graduated from Greenwich High School in 1996. In 2000, she acquired a degree in English and Sociology from the College of William & Mary. During her graduation, she was a member of the Chi Omega sorority, and for two years, she was a competitive backstroke swimmer on the William & Mary Tribe athletic team.

Professional Life

Psaki started her career in 2001 with the reelection campaigns for reelection for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Later, she became John Kerry’s deputy press secretary during the 2004 presidential campaign.
