Early Life

Parsons was born to Judy Ann and Jack Parsons on March 24, 1973, in Houston, Texas. He and his sister, Julie Ann Parsons, grew up in Spring, one of the northern suburbs of Houston. He was determined to become an actor at six after performing in the school production of The Elephant’s Child as the Kola-Kola bird.

After graduating from Klein Oak High School in Spring, Parsons enrolled at the University of Houston, where he earned a BA degree in Theater. During that time, he appeared in 17 plays. He co-founded Infernal Bridegroom Productions and regularly appeared at the Stages Repertory Theatre.
