Early Life
Tucker was born to Paul Hayes Tucker and Maggie Moss in Boston, Massachusetts, on May 31, 1982. His mother worked as a market analyst and executive, and his father was a professor of art at the University of Massachusetts Boston. He spent his childhood time in Charlestown, Massachusetts.
Tucker went on to attend The Park School in Brookline. In third grade, he joined the professional classical ballet company Boston Ballet. There, he played Fritz in the production of The Nutcracker for five years. At that, a Boston Ballet calendar featured him. He attended The Thacher School in Ojai, California.

Professional Career
Tucker began his acting career in films in the 1990s. At first, he played minor roles in the movies Troublemakers (1994), Two if by Sea (1996), and Sleepers (1996). He was cast as a notable character in Sofia Coppola’s The Virgin Suicides, released in 1999. In 1998, he acted in the television film Mr. Music and earned a nomination for the Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Movie or Pilot.
Tucker starred alongside Emmanuelle Chriqui and James DeBello in the romantic comedy 100 Girls, directed by Michael Davis. He then landed a role in the 2001 thriller The Deep End. In 2003, he played Morgan in the slasher film The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, a remake of the 1974 horror film of the same name. The following year, he appeared in the movie Stateside and Criminal.
Between 2002 and 2006, Tucker guest-starred in several series, including Philly, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Six Feet Under, Masters of Horror, and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. In 2005, he was cast as Dennis Kelly in the thriller Hostage. Next, he appeared in the films Pulse (2006), Love Comes to the Executioner (2006), and Cherry Crush (2007).
