8 Movies Like Spree You Love to Watch
Spree is one of the most horrible satirical horror films of 2020, premiered on the Hulu streaming platform, directed and written by Eugene Kotlyarenko and the other writer Gene McHugh. This horror series focuses on its lead character Kurt Kunkle, whose role here is played by Joe Keery. Kurt Kunkle is the rideshare driver in the series, who gets influenced by social media sites; and starts committing murders of his passengers.
As the film progresses, we see that Kurt further adds those murdered faces to their sites by visiting that everyone starts following him, but they believe that it is entirely fake. The series has Matt Dillon as a lead character here who plays the role of Jack, a serial killer for the last 12 years who murdered many innocent people in US states.
Most of the part of The House That Jack Built film is shot in a flashback, where Jack first describes how he murdered several people between the 1970s to 1980s; like a psycho, he had no guilt on his face while sharing the way he murdered in the past.

Ingrid Goes West is a black comedy-drama series directed and written by Matt Spicer, along with the help of another writer David Branson Smith. Aubrey Plaza, an American actress here, plays the role of Ingrid Thorburn, earning a lot of fame for her outstanding role in this film.
The series starts with Ingrid, who moves to Los Angeles just to make a good relationship with the Instagram influencer Taylor Sloane. But as the series progresses, we see that Ingrid is caught by her sibling while she chooses unlawful ways to get close to Taylor.

So, she creates a fake account on social media; and edits some of her pictures by captioning that she is in Paris and enjoying herself out there;’ but suddenly, a terrorist attack takes place at that place; and everyone from her family is started worrying about her, whether she is safe or not; and more.
Also, the lead character shared a message in an interview not to misuse social media; just to become famous or popular because it later creates a lot of trouble for you.
The way the makers created the series Not Okay has many similarities with that of the Spree film; in Spree, we have seen Kurt misuse his social media just to earn fame and publicity.

The Social Dilemma is a documentary series created by Jeff Orlowski and written by Vickie Curtis, Davis Coombe, and Jeff Orlowski. The Social Dilemma is a worth-watching series; the makers know that people only follow some of the things they show on social media.
Also, it passes a message not to be so addicted to that social media because it negatively impacts your mental health. In this case, too, we can take the example of Spree’s film, where Kurt is much addicted to social media so he even forgets what is right and what is wrong.

The Hater series mainly focuses on a law student, Tomasz Giemza, who first joined a PR agency. Still, as the series progresses, he must use his position more effectively. He starts spreading hated news and information about very know personalities with the help of social media.
From The Hater series, we learn a vital message: some people like Tomasz can take the disadvantage of having social media; it puts many’s lives in danger.

Mainstream is again an American dark comedy movie directed by Gia Coppola. So, it mainly starts with a very young personality named Frankie Cabot, who desires to become a filmmaker; even after a lot of work, she has yet to have an exact thing based on what she can make a film.
But, one day, she met a handsome man named Link, and later, they both started making videos; finally, Frankie got many new ideas about filmmaking.
But as the series progresses, Frankie realizes that the Link has many hidden things, and he is the one who burns his school building. And the similarities that we find between the Spree series and the mainstream is that the makers here give clear highlights about the negative side of Social Media.

Untraceable is again a Psychological thriller series in 2008, directed by Gregory Hoblit. The whole series is about a serial killer who takes misuse of a website named KillWithMe.com, where he first grabs more and more viewers’ attention; and then kills them in their real life, one after another.
Here, too we find a vital similarity between the Spree and Untraceable series; that is how they misuse technology; and do a lot of unlawful acts.
