Amanda Seales, the famous American actress, comedian, and author, appeared on Shannon Sharpe’s interview show, Club Shay Shay. On it, she took shots at Emmanuel Acho’s rant about Angel Reese. 

The incident happened right after the Elite Eight defeat against the Iowa Hawkeyes in the 2024 NCAA Tournament. The defeat undoubtedly affected the players, and 22-year-old basketball player Angel Reese was also in tears. She further mentioned the inconvenience she has been dealing with since the 2023 NCAA Championship.

However, the disheartened feelings, sobbing in the voice, and emotional distress seem to hold no value in the eyes of prominent sports personalities, including Eagles Linebacker and Fox 1 analyst Emmanuel Acho. 

Further, Emmanuel Acho’s comment ignited the scene where he added, ‘In sports, you can’t act like a big bad wolf, and cry like courage the cowardly dog.’ As this comment circulated online, Amanda Seales, a.k.a. VJ Amanda Diva, expressed her disagreement with Emmanuel’s ‘gender neutral’ and ‘racially indifferent’ thoughts and mentioned him as a ‘corny.’ 

Besides Acho’s words toward Reese, he also talked about the player’s attitude, which didn’t align with the actress Amanda Seales, and she went off on the renowned sports figure.

Amanda has left no words to express her disagreement with Emanual and found his comments about Angel Reese ‘disgusting.’ not only that, but the actress has also criticized Acho’s persona and mentioned him as a ‘White Person Savior.’ Apart from that, the Club Shay Shay show became more special when Amanda talked about Reese and her personality.

Even Matt Barnes went on his Instagram profile and disapproved of Acho’s comment. He further added that Reese wasn’t playing the victim card as the team lost the match, but she was talking about her inner struggles and emotional turmoil.
