Below Deck Mediterranean Star Aesha Scott is Engaged to Long-term Boyfriend Scott Dobson
Below Deck Mediterranean’s Aesha Scott announced her engagement with Scott Dobson after four years of dating. In a conversation with US Weekly, she shares the details regarding her engagement.
She said, “I had no idea it was coming and was surprised.” Dobson proposed to her at the beach near New Zealand, and she said that it was her dream place to get engaged. The reality shared a few photos for their romantic proposal. He proposed to her with a custom diamond ring which was designed by jewelry maker Layla Kaisi.
Layla Kaisi said that Dobson was a thoughtful and deeply cared person, and he created the ring that truly symbolized his love for her. The custom ring features different styles of diamonds, which represent each of her family members.
Scott shared a series of images from their beach proposal, showcasing their smiling, hugging, and kissing. She wrote in the caption, “I SAID YESSSSSSS!!! I SAID YES I SAID YES!! Of course, it was a yes.” Scott continued on the post that she dreamed about getting proposed one day after watching the rom coms when she was a little girl. She added that all those daydreams came true last week in the most perfect moment. She happily exclaimed, “WE’RE ENGAGED!!!!!.”
Scott and Dobson had known each other a long before, as they went to high school together. However, they became a couple a decade later and confirmed their relationship publicly in 2020.
Scott opened up about her relationship with Dobson in an episode of Below Deck. She said they had been together for over two years and planned to buy a house in New Zealand.
In an interview, she said that the biggest thing in a relationship was trust, and in their relationship, they were on and off; they spent time together and apart, but they trusted each other. She added that it would give us space and help us focus on what we were doing. She also praised Dobson for how he supported her while she was away from him.
The couple celebrated their first milestone in their life just two months before their engagement. They were living in different rental properties and had decided to get into the next phase of their relationship. They buy a new home in New Zealand. Scotty shared the happy news on her Instagram account, stating they finally had a place to call home.
