Ben Affleck Attends Daughter Violet’s Graduation Ceremony Without Jennifer Lopez Amid Split Rumors
Ben Affleck attended his daughter’s high school graduation party alone in Los Angeles amid separation rumors with Jennifer Lopez. According to the report, The Accountant star reached the venue without Jennifer Lopez, and the reason for her absence was unknown.
He was photographed solo while attending the event and looked somber. He wore a beige blazer over a white button-down, and it was paired with blue jeans and a boot.
Affleck shared his daughter Violet with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, and she received her diploma last week. The new photo circulated on the internet, and Lopez’s absence from the family function added more fuel to their separation rumors.
However, Garner shared a series of photos from her social media account in celebration of her elder daughter’s milestone. In that photo, she is seen getting emotional during the ceremony.
Garner captioned, “Tell me you have a graduate without telling me you have a graduate.”
Garner and Affleck, who were married for 13 years, divorced in 2018. They have two other children, Seraphina and Samuel.
The split between Affleck and Lopez first sparked at the 2024 Met Gala, when the singer appeared on the red carpet without Affleck. Additionally, no sightings of them together have occurred since March.
Following that rumor, reports suggested that they were living separately as he moved out of his Beverly Hills mansion, which he shared with Lopez. After that, the couple made a solo appearance with on-and-off wedding rings.
Last week, Lopez appeared on the red carpet premiere of her new Netflix movie Atlas alone, while Affleck skipped the event and was spotted with his friends at a restaurant in Los Angeles. He was also busy filming The Accountant 2 on the west coast.
At the premiere, she shut down the questions regarding their marriage as the reporters asked about their split rumors. When they repeatedly asked the couple’s relationship status, Lopez said, “You know better than that.”
In a recent documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told, Affleck opens up his relationship with Lopez by stating, “Two people with different kinds of approaches trying to learn to compromise.”
Earlier this week, Page Six reported a source’s statement, “He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream, and he’s come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work.”
An insider told InTouch, “They’ll never stop loving each other, but she can’t control him, and he can’t change her,” and continued, “There’s no way it could have lasted.”
