Famous reality TV star Bethenny Frankel is once again firing back at online critics who have been vocal about her changing appearance. In a recent episode of her “Just B” podcast, the 53-year-old former “Real Housewives of New York City” cast member didn’t hold back when addressing those who have been “mad” that she looks “better” now than she did 20 years ago.
“My Jaw Was Much Bigger Back Then.”
Frankel recalled a comment made by a social media user who pointed out the difference in her jawline between her old photos and her current ones. “My jaw was much bigger, but, like, people commenting on someone else’s physical appearance—it’s like being mad that I look better,” she said. “I literally look better, and I can tell that they’re annoyed,” she said.
The Skinnygirl founder credited her improved appearance to a little help from Botox. “My jaw was much bigger, but, like, people commenting on someone else’s physical appearance—it’s like being mad that I look better,” she explained. “Like, I literally look better, and they’re annoyed, and you can tell. And again, that’s a hater, and I like that.”
“The more you get angry, the better I know I look.”
Frankel didn’t hold back in her response to those critical of her looks, boldly telling her haters, “It’s annoying you that I look good.’ Where’s the old Bethenny?’ It doesn’t matter, because this is the new Bethenny.
She went on to say that the more her critics get annoyed, the more she knows her appearance is working in her favor. “You’re so annoyed, and I love it,” she said. Frankel said, “The more you become irritated, the more I understand its effectiveness.” “The more you get annoyed, the better I know I look. I’m bothering you. Keep it coming.”
Olympic Criticism and the L’Oréal Runway Walk
Frankel also addressed the public’s reaction to celebrities using weight loss drugs like Ozempic, saying people get “mad that other people are allowed to now look good.”
“I’ll do what I want. I’ll wear what I want. I’ll accomplish what I desire,” she declared. “None of your fucking business. I’ll look how I want.”
The Bravo star also reflected on the controversial catwalk she did during the L’Oréal Paris fashion show last month, which drew criticism from many viewers. However, Frankel said her unique “giraffe walk” was entirely intentional.
“Why did I walk like that? I wanted to walk that way because it was iconic. Because you’re talking about it. ‘Cause it landed. ‘Cause I win,” Frankel boasted. “I completed the giraffe walk, and L’Oreal recently extended an invitation to an event in L.A.” I don’t see them inviting you.”
Frankel Embraces Her “Problems”
While the former reality TV personality acknowledged that she may have “problems,” she said that’s just fine with her. “Maybe I have problems, but if I’ve got issues, that’s OK,” Frankel said with a laugh.
Overall, Bethenny Frankel is clearly unbothered by her critics and is embracing her evolving appearance. She’s not afraid to call out the “haters” and seems to relish in the fact that her looks continue to provoke strong reactions, good or bad. As Frankel boldly declared, “This is the new Bethenny, bitch.”
