Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz have broken up after three years together. Rumors of their romance first surfaced in August 2021, and in October 2023, they announced their engagement.
Over the course of their relationship, the duo—who got engaged in October 2023—were candid about how much they not only loved each other but also respected each other when it came to their acting careers.
“I don’t really make any creative decisions—or very many decisions—without getting her point of view now,” Channing said in August, “because I respect her point of view, her brain, her tastes, and almost everything.”
The 44-year-old added, “We need each other now.” And for Channing—who last month settled his divorce from Jenna Dewan, with whom he shares 11-year-old daughter Everly—he felt that working with Zoë on Blink Twice actually strengthened their relationship.
“Making movies is hard,” he told E!. “If you think you’re in love with someone and are wondering, ‘Do I want to stay with them forever, be with them, have a child with them, or get married?’ Find the most challenging project you can physically undertake. Go build a house, paint a room, or do something else.
As for Zoë, the 35-year-old previously gushed to E! that she and Channing consider making art as their “love language,” noting that they two hoped “to continue doing it.” “There’s a shorthand when you know somebody so well and there’s so much trust there,” the Big Little Lies alum continued in her August interview. “It was a joy to work with him, and I think art is the deepest expression of love, so being able to do that with my partner was amazing.”
Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz Split After 3 Years Together: Call Off Engagement
According to multiple sources, Tatum and Kravitz, who tied the knot a year ago, are parting ways. The two first became an item after working together on Kravitz’s feature directorial debut, Blink Twice, in which Tatum starred and got engaged a year ago.
Tatum, 44, joined Kravitz in seeing a production of a play by Blink Twice costar Levon Hawke in New York City’s Red Hook neighborhood on Oct. 6. However, Kravitz, 35, has in recent weeks been spotted out and about without her engagement ring, including on a recent outing with Big Little Lies costar Shailene Woodley.
“Art is our love language,” Kravitz said upon Blink Twice’s Aug. 23 premiere when asked about collaborating with Tatum again in the future. “I think it’s what we love, and we love talking about it, experiencing it, and supporting each other.”
Channing Tatum Maintains His Professionalism Following Reports Of Zoe Kravitz’s Split
Channing Tatum anticipated costarring with Zoe Kravitz in an upcoming project hours before split news. Tatum is still looking forward to working with his ex-fiance Zoe Kravitz in an upcoming film.
The Step Up star, 44, shared a screenshot of a Deadline story anticipating the forthcoming film, initially shared by Dave Bautista. The post is still up on the actor’s Instagram Stories after the news of his split with Zoe, 35, jolted the internet just hours later.
The film, starring and produced by Cate Blanchett, will also feature Bautista, Steven Yeun, Léa Seydoux, and Riley Keough. Multiple sources confirmed the shocking breakup after the couple had been together for three years; other sources also reported it.
The two first sparked dating rumors after Kravitz cast Tatum in her film Blink Twice in early 2021. Information suggests that by October 2023, the two had become engaged. The pair also earned her father Lenny Kravitz’s blessings in January of this year.
