Now, she is busy with another project to showcase her talent in Darren Star’s romantic comedy-drama series, And Just Like That.
‘And Just Like That’ is the complete set of romantic comedy-drama along with the elements of sex comedy. The show’s plot was adapted from Candace Bushnell’s popular newspaper column ‘Sex and The City.’ Yesterday (May 1, 2024), the actress and comedian Rosie O’Donnell headed to Instagram to break the exclusive news about her casting in the upcoming And Just Like That Season 3.
The actress, who has earlier served in television shows like A League of Their Own, Russian Doll, and Run The World, posted an Instagram post of season 3, episode 1 and was named ‘Outlook Good,’ which was written and directed by Michael Patrick King.
According to the reports, Rosie, 63, will play Mary. The actress has also hosted her talk show, ‘The Rosie O’Donnell Show.’ Her last project includes Showtime’s ‘American Gigolo,’ in which she played the lead role of Detective Sunday.
Not only Rosie O’Donnell but stars like Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie Bradshaw) also shared photos of scripts, and she has also tagged Cynthia Nixon (Miranda), Mario Cantone (Anthony), Nicole Ari Parker (Lisa), Katerina Tannenbaum (Lisette), and Sarita Choudhary (Seema).

The And Just Like That series is an adaptation of Candace Bushnell’s popular newspaper column Sex and The City. It first aired on HBO Max on December 9, 2021.
Two years later, it was renewed for a second run and released on Max Network on June 22, 2023. Now, the makers have already started the production process for the third season, and it is confirmed that And Just Like That Season 3 will be released in 2025.
