Erin Foster Welcomes First Child With Husband Simon Tikhman
Erin Foster welcomed her first baby daughter with her husband Simon Tikhman at home. The actress shared the happy news on her Instagram on Sunday by posting a series of black and white photos, which shows some glimpses of her home birth.
She captioned the post, “Truly the most insane experience of my life, with the best ending.” She continued, “Noa Mimi Tikhman, being nothing like her mother, who is always late, arrived two weeks early at 4:41 a.m. on May 17th.”
She added that her baby is “perfect and super advanced already.” She revealed that she gave birth to her baby naturally at their home and concluded the post by praising Simon as a warrior.
The series of images showcases how she is working through the contraction with the support of her husband, Tikhman; the moment her daughter is placed on her chest right after the birth, Tikhman is looking adorably holding her in his hand, and the family of three.
Many of her celebrity friends and fans congratulated them on the new phase of their lives. The actress Jennifer Aniston wrote, “YES Mama and Papa! Welcome, Noa girl,” and Mindy Kaling commented, “I love this news and these photos. You’re a legend.”
Foster announced her pregnancy news on Thanksgiving through her Instagram. In the photo, Foster is standing and shows her baby bump in the sunlight, and Tikhman is sitting in front of her and looking at her with a smile. She captioned, “It feels like we need something positive right now, so I’d like to offer something. I’m pregnant!”
She posted a few images of her pregnancy journey on her social media. In December 2023, she shared another photo of her baby bump lifting her sweater. She wrote, “She’s a vision. Just how I imagined.”
In another post, she shared a series of images on her vacation during pregnancy and joked in the caption, “Looks like Simon brought sand to the beach.”
Foster and Tikhman started dating in August 2018 and got engaged after one year. Her sister Sara first broke the news of their engagement by posting a photo of Foster showing her ring. The following day, Erin shared the news on her Instagram with a photo of her in a shocking expression. She captioned the post, “How on earth did I pull this off.”
The couple married in 2019 during a New Year’s Eve ceremony in Nashville, attended by their friends and family.
