The actress revealed that she had to endure bizarre situations in the 2000s when male actors were selected through intimate performances. The motive behind such a process was to check the chemistry between the cast members.
In addition, Anne said that auditions were complicated and that once she was asked to kiss ten men in a day. She added, ‘We have ten guys coming today, and you are the cast.’ Not only that, but the team also questioned about my excitement level.
They often asked, ‘Aren’t you excited to make out with all of them?’ Such questions left the actress wondering what was wrong with her as making out to check the bond between cast members was ‘normal.’
Apart from that, the actress also mentioned, “It was not about a power play. In fact, no one was trying to be awful or hurt me. It was just a very different time, and now we know better,” she continued.
