Jason Momoa Confirms Relationship With Adria Arjona After Lisa Bonet Split
Jason Momoa confirmed his relationship with fellow star Adria Arjona after finalizing his divorce from Lisa Bonet. On Monday, the actor went on Instagram official with the actress Adria and called her “Mi amor.”
He shared some pictures of his Japan trip with his friends and Arjona, including one in which the actor wraps his arms around Arjona while they sit together at a Japanese restaurant. Another shows them posed in the background of the sea, and the wind blows their hair on their faces.
He captioned the post, “Japan, you are a dream come true you blew my mind,” and continued, “We’re so thankful for everyone who opened their homes, making memories with new friends and old friends, sharing another amazing adventure with mi amor.
He concluded the post by saying, “ON THE ROAM motorcycles and mayhem. All my aloha j.”
Momoa and Arjona have not publicly discussed their relationship. During an appearance at a Comic Con Festival, The Aquaman star said, “I am very much in a relationship.” At that time, he didn’t reveal his partner’s identity and said, “You’ll find out very soon.”
Momoa and Arjona starred in the Netflix movie Sweet Girl, released in 2021. At that time, the actor was legally married to Lisa Bonet. Momoa’s new relationship comes five months after he finalizes his divorce from Bonet.
The former couple married in 2017 after 13 years of dating. They announced their separation in 2022 through a joint statement on Instagram. They wrote, “We share our Family news~ That we are parting ways in marriage. We share this not because we think it’s newsworthy ~ But so that~ as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty.”
Bonet filed for divorce from Momoa in January, two years after their split, and their divorce was settled one day later. In the court document, Bonet listed their separation as October 7, 2020, by citing irreconcilable differences. They have two children, daughter Lola, 16, and son Nakola-Wolf, 15, and now share joint custody of the kids.
Four months after Momoa and Bonet’s separation, there were rumors that the actor was dating Eiza González, but neither confirmed their relationship.
Arjona married a lawyer, Edgardo Canales, in 2019, but they later separated. She had a breakthrough in her acting career in the series Emerald City. After that, she starred in prominent roles in the series Good Omens and Andor. Her upcoming films are Blink Twice and Los Frikis.
