The pair announced their separation three months before and are living separately. The couple married in 2019 and starred on the reality show Vanderpumb Rules together. Their wedding was filmed for the show. The couple welcomed their son, Cruz, in 2021. The pair announced their separation in February before their show The Valley premiere.
Cartwright revealed their separation through their joint podcast ‘When Reality Hits.’ She said in that podcast that separation is still rigid to talk about. She continued by saying that she didn’t know what the future meant, but she needed to focus on being the best mother to her son.
However, she expressed in an interview earlier this month that Taylor could get her back if he made changes in his life. She said there was definitely a chance, and she would not waste her time returning to that toxic situation.
They first met at Las Vegan in 2015 and split in 2017. They reconciled off camera and announced their engagement in 2018. It was reported that the couple had a big fight, and Cartwright moved from their home to Airbnb. She said it was important to her to get out of the toxic situation, and she felt she needed more respect from her husband.
Cartwright said that the fighting had to be stopped. They were constantly digging into each other like many marriages are going through. She also added that she was happy that she took control of her life.
