Lenny Kravitz Hints Daughter Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum’s Wedding Plans
Lenny Kravitz revealed some details about his daughter Zoe Kravitz’s marriage to Channing Tatum. On May 31, during an appearance on the BBC’s Zoe Ball and Friends podcast, Lenny hinted that his daughter’s big day was on the way.
He said, “We’re going to have a wedding next year.” He also expressed his happiness about his daughter’s relationship with Tatum. He also praised his future son-in-law by stating, “He’s a really great guy.”
Lenny continued, “He was raised well. So, you know, he’s got manners.” Lenny also pointed out that Tatum was “charming” and a “soulful human being,” and quite quickly he became part of the family.
Lenny was asked in the podcast whether he would perform the ceremony, and he joked back, “I don’t think so. [I’ll] just be hanging out.” He previously revealed in a conversation with Entertainment Tonight that he would not write the father-of-the bride speech. He said that it would come “from the heart” and added, “It just comes at the moment. I don’t rehearse those things.”
Lenny talked about his relationship with Tatum in a conversation with E! News in January. He said, We’re very close, and we have a great line of communication.” He also stated that they often hang out together.
Tadum also felt comfortable with Lenny. He teased his future father-in-law through a comment under Lenny’s post, in which Lenny posted a shirtless photo of himself. Tatum jokingly commended, “Jesus Christmas Lenny, wtf you’re gonna hurt someone on this platform. Hahaha.”
Zoë and Tatum romance rumors were first sparked in 2021, when they worked together on Blink Twice’s Pussy Island. After that, they were spotted together in the street of NYC by riding a BMX bike. They were seen together on multiple occasions in the following months.
The pair got engaged in 2023, and it was confirmed after they were photographed leaving a Halloween party while Zoë showed off her engagement ring.
Lenny commented on his daughter’s engagement news to Entertainment News by stating, “When your family is happy, when your child is happy, that’s it—I’ve done well. Blessed,”
Zoë previously shared about her relationship with Tatum during an interview for GQ’s 2022 Men of the Year issue. She said, “He makes me laugh and we both really love art and talking about art and the exploration of why we do what we do.”
Actor Karl Glusman was Zo’s previous husband in 2019, and they separated in 2021. Tatum married Jenna Dewan in 2009, and after a decade of their marriage, they ended it in 2019. They share a daughter, Everly, 10.
