They got engaged in April 2023, and Brown announced the happy news through her Instagram account. She shared a snapshot with Bongiovi that showcased the ring on her finger. She captioned it with Taylor Swift’s lyrics, “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all.”
Weeks later, Jon Bon Jovi addressed his son’s love in an interview with Andy Cohen. He said, “I don’t know if age matters,” and continued, “You know, if you find the right partner and you grow together, I think that would be my advice really, is growing together is wise.”
The rock star also added, “Millie is wonderful, her whole family are great.” He further continued, that his son was happy in their relationship.
In a conversation with Women’s Wear Daily, Brown opened up about her wedding planning with Bongiovi. She said, “I can say that the planning is going — it’s so fun and it’s such an exciting time in my life.”
She also shared her wish to keep their nuptials private, “I think probably drawing the curtains, just because there are only so many moments in life that you get only once,”. She continued, “So I feel it’s important to keep those things, those small precious moments in life, really close to your chest,”
Earlier, Matthew Modine, who co-starred with Brown on Stranger Things, revealed that he was planning to officiate their wedding ceremony. He said, “I have one of those licenses to get people married and Millie thought it’d be great.”
He continued, “I wrote the wedding vows, and they loved what I wrote for them to join hands and to become husband and wife.”
