Sister Wives star Garrison Brown’s cause of death was revealed two months after his death. According to the autopsy report confirmed by the Coconino County Medical Examiner, he died from a gunshot wound to the head. His manner of death is declared as suicide, and police confirmed no foul play is suspected.
The report also noted that alcohol poisoning was also a contributing factor in the death. Garrison’s blood alcohol level was high; based on his iliac blood analysis, it was .30, and in vitreous analysis, it was .37.
Sister Wives reality stars Janelle and Kody Brown’s son, Garrison Brown, was found dead on March 5 at the age of 25. At that time, according to the statement of the Flagstaff Police Department, Garrison’s brother Gabriel found him deceased in his apartment and called the cops.
An hour after the reports came, Janelle and Kody, who divorced in 2022, confirmed his death by posting a statement on Instagram regarding the heartbreaking loss of their son.
They wrote, “Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown.” They also added, “His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away.” they requested everyone to respect their privacy and asked to honor his memory.
TLC also issued a statement about Garrison’s demise: “We are devastated to hear of the tragic loss of Garrison Brown.” They also expressed heartfelt condolences to the Brown Family for their difficult time.
In April, Janelle took social media and memorized her son on his birthday, who would have turned 26 that month. She shared his birthday photos and videos throughout the year. She wrote the caption, “Happy Birthday Sweetheart. We are missing you terribly today. It’s hard to believe you aren’t here anymore.”
She concluded the statement heartfeltly, “I still feel you nearby sometimes. And I’m grateful we will see each other again when my journey is completed.”
Garrison was first introduced to the reality television series Sister Wives on TLC in 2010. The series documented the life of a polygamist family, which includes Garrison and his other siblings, his mother Janelle, his father Kodi, and Kodi’s other wives. The show ran for 18 seasons, and the last season ended in December 2023.
Janelle Spiritually married Kody in 1993, and they have six children: Madison, Garrison, Logan, Savanah, and Hunter. Janelle announced separation from Kody in 2022 after nearly 30 years.
