The Cast of Full House: Where Are They Now?
Full House is a beloved family sitcom created by Jeff Franklin that aired between 1987 and 1995. The series follows Danny Tanner (Bob Saget), a recently widowed father of three daughters, who attempts to raise them with the help of his best friend Joey Gladstone (Dave Coulier) and brother-in-law Jesse Katsopolis (John Stamos).
The other cast of the series includes Candace Cameron Bure as DJ, Jodie Sweetin as Stephanie, Mary Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen as Michelle, and Lori Loughlin as Rebecca.
In 2016, Netflix created its spin-off series, Fuller House, with some of the original series casts. It aired for six seasons and ended in 2020. The cast reunited on various occasions throughout the years. The show celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2012.
On May 17, John Stamos shared a photo on Instagram to honor Bob Saget on his 68th birthday, who died in January 2022. The photo was taken as the cast of Fuller House gathered for Bob’s funeral.
Stamos wrote in the caption, “Happy Birthday Bob,” and added, “That day, each of us felt the weight of his absence and the strength of the bond he nurtured among us.”
He ended the post by saying, “Bob, you are with us in every joke we share and every hug we give. Rest in peace, dear friend. Your family misses you more than words can say.”
Bob Saget (Danny Tanner)
Bob also acted in the sequel of the series Fuller House. He voiced the narrator Ted Mosby on the sitcom How I Met Your Father. He last appeared in the films Daniel’s Gotta Die and Welcome Home Nikki Glaser series. Bob was found dead in January 2022 in a hotel room in Florida, and his cause of death was determined as head trauma.
John Stamos (Jesse Katsopolis)
John Stamos gained recognition by his role in ABC’s soap opera General Hospital. After acting in Full House, he played notable characters in the show, including ER, The Big Shot, and Scream Queens. He recently appeared in the series The Prank Panel and Harley Quinn.
Dave Coulier (Joey Gladstone)
In addition to Full House, Coulier acted in the series George and Leo and Nick Freno: Licensed Teacher. He also voiced Peter Venkman on The Real Ghostbusters. He appeared as a host in the shows America’s Funniest People and America’s Most Talented Kid.
Candace Cameron (D.J. Tanner)
After the conclusion of Full House, Bure appeared as a guest star on Cybill and Boy Meets World. She also participated in season 18 of Dancing with the Stars and ended up in third place. She recently appeared in the film Unsung Hero.
Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner)
When the Full House ended, Sweetin concentrated on her studies and returned to television as a host in the show Pants-Off Dance-Off. Throughout her career, she has been part of numerous films and shows.
