In a shocking tell-all, internet personality Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia has claimed that country music star Zach Bryan offered her a staggering $12 million to keep quiet about their breakup.
LaPaglia made the explosive revelation during a recent episode of her “BFFs” podcast with Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards. During a solo segment, she revealed that after their split, Bryan’s team approached her with a lucrative deal: a lump sum of $12 million paid out over three years in exchange for signing a non-disclosure agreement.
“They would’ve been monitoring everything that I do,” the 25-year-old Barstool Sports personality shared. “I thought about it for a second, and I think they tend to forget; I started to forget that I was somebody, I was established, and I was successful before [Bryan].”
LaPaglia stated that she ultimately refused the offer, declaring, “I’m going to be someone; I’m going to be established [and] I’m going to be successful after him [too].” She added, “I’m alright where I’m at, and I don’t want blood money.”
In a later segment with her co-hosts, LaPaglia admitted she “went back and forth” on whether to accept the substantial payout, which Portnoy confirmed was a $12 million proposal. “That’s life-changing money,” the Barstool founder acknowledged, noting he even considered advising LaPaglia to take the deal.
However, LaPaglia said she ultimately couldn’t bring herself to do it, fearing she wouldn’t be able to sleep at night. “From the get-go, I was like, ‘F-k you, I don’t want your money,'” she said, explaining the moral dilemma of balancing her own financial needs against the ethical concerns.
LaPaglia also claimed that Bryan’s team offered to purchase her a house or New York City apartment as part of the hush money arrangement. The bombshell revelation comes just weeks after Bryan and LaPaglia publicly announced their split in October 2024, with the “Something in the Orange” singer sharing that they had parted ways after an “incredibly hard year.”
Shortly after, LaPaglia addressed the breakup, saying she was “blindsided” by the situation. Now, her tell-all podcast has shed new light on the aftermath of their relationship’s demise. LaPaglia alleged that Bryan’s attempts to control her went beyond the breakup, claiming he also tried to influence what she wore and her social media presence. She recalled how he “ruined” her experience at the 2024 Golden Globes by disapproving of her dress choice and unfollowing her on Instagram.
“Everything good—anything good I did for me—he made sure to ruin it for me,” LaPaglia said. “He ruined my birthday, he ruined my tour, and he ruined the Golden Globes. Anything Brianna did for her, he had to ruin it.”
In the wake of these revelations, Portnoy has taken matters into his own hands, releasing a diss track targeting Bryan titled “Smallest Man.” However, the song has since been removed from streaming platforms, prompting Portnoy to vow he will “write 10,000 diss tracks” and “go die in the booths” to keep the pressure on.
As the fallout from this high-profile breakup continues to unfold, it’s clear that the drama between Chickenfry and Zach Bryan is far from over. Fans and onlookers alike will be watching closely to see what other bombshells may be in store.
